Session Abstract

The six presenters will each speak briefly (5 to 10 minutes) from various perspectives about the problem of guns and violence in the United States. At least half of the roundtable, however, will be devoted to discussion and to responding to questions and observations by the audience. We hope the session will be participatory in the best sense, as we think together about the implications for public policy of historical research on gun violence.
