Session Abstract
This practicum will introduce participants to methods and mechanisms for engaging students with medieval sources. Presenters will demonstrate examples from the Posen Library, a free online database of Jewish primary sources, examples from Italian archives, a demonstration of how to introduce even pre-K students to medieval texts, and how the Special Collections at Tufts University seeks to create a space for close study and hands-on interaction with material objects from the Middle Ages and beyond. The audience for this practicum is anyone working working with students and medieval documents/sources, from pre-k through university.
