Session Abstract
The purpose of this session is to consider issues involved in writing the global history of the recent past. Participants, all of whom have written or are writing such global histories, will discuss questions of sources and conceptualization, recount findings, and evaluate the current state of the field. The session will have a roundtable format, so comments will come from the audience.
