Session Abstract

Rund Abdelfatah and Ramtin Arablouei, hosts of NPR’s popular history podcast Throughline, and Throughline showrunner and editor Julie Caine will deliver a keynote address for the second annual Sinclair Workshop on Historical Podcasting. Moderator Daniel Story will engage them in conversation about how Throughline uses “sound and stories to bring history to life and put you into the middle of it,” the opportunities and challenges of history podcasting today, and other issues surrounding history and public dialogue in the current moment.
