Session Abstract

This roundtable, part two of “Working from Home: Historians Writing about Themselves and their Ancestors," assembles historians who have recently engaged their own biographies or family histories as scholars and descendants. It explores relationships between history, genealogy, and memory; evolving fields, methods, and genres of family history, biography, and memoir; and the opportunities and challenges of such writing.
