Session Abstract

So, you’re thinking about starting a podcast. Or, maybe you’re in production on a new series. You might even be a seasoned veteran. Regardless of where you are on your podcast journey, questions haunt your dreams. Questions like: What makes for a compelling script? Am I using the right microphone and digital audio workstation? How should I approach interviewing a guest? Is my idea right for the audio medium? What are my financing options? To swag, or not to swag?

In the Sinclair Podcast Workshop’s second session, participants will have the opportunity to talk one on one with fellow historians, producers, and audio editors at tables dedicated to such topics as “script writing,” “audio production, “financing,” “marketing,” and more. Generate new ideas, alleviate your fears, calibrate your ambitions, and expand your networks with colleagues old and new who are telling stories of the past in audio form.
