Session Abstract

This roundtable, part 1 of, “Working from Home: Historians Writing about Themselves and their Ancestors," will assemble historians who have recently engaged their own biographies or family histories as scholars and descendants. It will explore relationships between history, genealogy, and memory; evolving fields, methods, and genres of family history, biography, and memoir; and the opportunities and challenges of such writing.
