Session Abstract

As it has the past few years, the AHR will continue the “AHR Conversation” to be published in the December 2019 issue. This year’s conversation explores the way museums organize knowledge by collecting, preserving, displaying, and memorializing the past in different national and global contexts. The conversation asks how museums have been used to frame national patrimony, revolutionary participation, local identities, and human origins.
