Overview connecting elements of comics with educational pedagogy – why comics are a great tool for developing student global competency (focusing on recognizing diverse perspectives) and historical thinking skills (comics as a primary source, sim/seq time). Sample thinking routine to use with students in marking up comic text, sample pedagogy when first exposing students to a comic text. Examples of panels that work this way.
