Veterans History for Floridians: A Practicum in Public History Research and Programming

In a course that introduces undergraduates to public history as a profession, students focus on relating broader national issues of a given period (Civil Rights Movement, suffrage and womens' rights, linguistic diversity, etc.) and how they can be explicated through public history education and programming that treats the veteran experience in Florida history.
