Jewish History and Culture in the BIA Digital Archive: Problems and Solutions

This discussion will focus on EGRP’s attempts to raise awareness among academic and non-academic audiences of the vast unpublished documents relating to Jewish culture that are found in the Medici Granducal Archive.  Among the initiatives to be discussed are the dissemination of such material through BIA; the presentation of such material at conferences and lectres; the creation of partnerships with academic institutions in Italy, Israel, and the United States; and the creation of internship programs for undergraduate students.
