The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

Harris will discuss the history of the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial, its creation, and the controversies surrounding it. The memorial is currently surrounded by scaffolding after workers removed the disputed paraphrased inscription, “I was a drum major for justice, peace, and righteousness.”
