A Modest Proposal of a Non-Swiftian Variety: Exploring Future Possibilities of Collaboration between Secondary History Teachers and University History Professors

In this presentation, Mr. Greene will explore potential future avenues for collaboration between secondary and university history departments. He will focus his discussion on creative ways history teachers can enhance history instruction in the secondary schools by utilizing the current research of university history professors. He will also examine ways secondary teachers and university history professors can work cooperatively to improve the quality of future history teachers by becoming more actively engaged in the vetting and certification process of student teachers.
