Historical Forms of Opinion Expression and the End of the Survey Method

Herbst will propose that future opinion expression may look far more like the non-quantitative and organic forms it took on in earlier centuries (theater, song, political tracts, riots, strikes, demonstrations, novels, storytelling, etc), which makes our current survey methods near worthless.
