The recently announced revisions to the AP United States History course and exam seek to develop students' ability to use historical thinking skills in their study of the past. This presentation discusses several innovative elements of the revised AP Exam that will assess students' use of primary sources and secondary arguments in approaching the theme of "peopling" throughout the college level survey course.
