The on-campus job interview often includes a teaching presentation. For institutions with heavy teaching loads this is an especially important aspect of the job interview. Professor Hirt will discuss best practices for teaching presentations, describe the different conditions interviewees may face when giving teaching demonstrations, and suggest successful strategies for performing well and avoiding embarrassments.
