Outing History

A rereading of Blanche Wiesen Cook’s classic 1979 essays, "The Historical Denial of Lesbianism: A Review Essay"[1] and "Women Alone Stir My Imagination: Lesbianism & the Cultural Tradition."[2]  What impact did these pioneering works have when published?
