A trained anthropologist, an accomplished historian, writer and photographer, as well as a mariner and sailor, Sam Low has made multiple ocean voyages onboard the Hokule'a. In this talk he will discuss the ways in which these voyages awakened wider circles of indigenous culture through Hawaii, the Pacific, and beyond.
