Jeff Bieber, writer and director; Chana Gazit, director; Maia Harris, writer (Jeff Bieber Productions LLC, 2025)
More than an autobiography of Hannah Arendt, the film is a study in the origins of totalitarianism that makes a timely and important intervention in the current historical moment. The film covers her private and public life; the writing of The Origins of Totalitarinism, published in 1951; and her famous and controversial articles on the Eichmann trial.
The filmmakers will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterward.
