This presentation summarizes the research conducted during my participation in the University of Houston’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program. The study examines the impact of immigration on the city of Houston, focusing on three key dimensions: population growth, financial contributions—such as tax revenues—and the presence of DACA recipients, also known as dreamers. Additionally, the presentation explores the potential social consequences of current immigration policies.
