The Climate Chronicles: Bringing History to Life with AI

Our students typically turn to podcasts or YouTube videos, not books and articles, when they want to learn about the past. The Climate Chronicles is a multimedia effort to reach them where they are. Using the remarkable new capabilities provided by large language models, it uses dynamic videos, professional-quality audio files, and music to create a compelling narrative about the history of climate change. In this presentation, I'll explain how I create each episode - and how I use them in the classroom.
