Session Abstract

College departments and administrators are under increasing pressure to justify the value of high-quality history instruction in undergraduate curricula. Panelists with a range of expertise will illuminate from different angles the essential opportunities for our discipline to serve students’ interests and society’s needs through well designed, general-education history courses.
