Session Abstract
This session explores histories of tensions and rapprochments between area and ethnic studies in the US academy. It is structured as a dialogue between scholars of Asian, Latin American, Asian-American, and Latinx history and studies. The roundtable will also address recent institutional developments in this field and their relation with undergraduate and graduate education.
