Session Abstract

This two-part roundtable will explore new analytic and methodological approaches to the study of capitalism, slavery, and early post-emancipation in the Atlantic World. It places in conversation scholars who have worked in a range of archives in the North and South Atlantic, and who have centered questions, social networks of exchange, and groups of people who received little attention in earlier iterations of these discussions.
