Historical research and family ties come together to trace the history of Rancho Las Juntas. Married to a direct descendant of the Welch family and owner/operator of a contemporary Rancho, Genene has a unique perspective as that comes through in her historical research. This portion of our presentation zooms in to the experiences of a family historian involved in this project and the unique perspective of the thriving Californio culture.
