Bring one of your writing assignments, a grading rubric, and at least one sample of student work, and discuss with colleagues how to adjust your teaching of writing, how to improve the feedback you give to students, and how to make your grading both more efficient and more useful. This workshop also aims to foster conversations on student writing across levels of instruction and, in particular, encourage collaboration between high school teachers and college professors.
