The History of History Comics

This portion of the workshop would outline the development of comics specifically for the use of teaching history. Their evolution and origins in the modern era predates the popular conception of the superhero comic. Their subsequent development into present day graphic histories such as those from Oxford University Press is indicative of their long term utility.
