Session Abstract

This interdisciplinary panel raises questions about the comparable and divergent experiences of gendered leadership historically 1800s-2000s. The panelists explore how leadership at the institutional and personal levels shed light on the ways gender expectations and norms have consistently been challenged in various historical moments, geographic spaces, and intellectual traditions.
