The Grad Lab Practicum component of the “Humanities Without Walls” collaborative research projects seeks to to formalize the role of graduate students as collaborative partners alongside faculty, and to provide professional experience for graduate students that could lead to a diversity of careers. This talk outlines some successful examples of collaboration as part of doctoral training, and also highlights the challenges that exist to such efforts.
