Building a sustainable digital research ecosystem will require many hands working toward similar ends. Indeed, if historians are to have the kind of digital history infrastructure they want and need, in order to meet the future research needs of the discipline, it will be essential to realize the still untapped potential for collaborations between historians, archivists and librarians. To this end, Martin Halbert, Dean of Libraries at the University of North Texas, will discuss recent findings on these topics from a one year study funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation (see https://educopia.org/research/chrysalis). His remarks will focus on how historians, librarians, and other stakeholders can best collaborate to ensure that future research needs are being addressed.
