Session Abstract

This conversation, organized by the AHA Committee on LGBTQ Status in the Profession, provides an opportunity to discuss how historians can support our colleagues and contribute to national discussions about LGBTQ rights and history in a time of backlash. Conversation will focus on priorities for the committee, which is charged with addressing fair treatment and nondiscrimination for LGBTQ historians. We will also have a broader discussion on the role we, as historians, can play in broad public conversations about LGBTQ rights and history.
