Session Abstract
The AHA and the Teaching Division have moved our profession into national and international discussions of teaching and learning. The ongoing Tuning Project has led many departments to re-examine not only core outcomes, but the internal logic of the major and how that works when looking at students transferring from another institution. This roundtable will offer success and "learning opportunity" stories from a variety of institution types and invites discussion from participants of their experiences in cultivating history majors. How do we "link levels of experience" within the major and prepare students for their careers beyond our institutions?
