The Bone-Whisperers: Experiencing the Scope of Fieldwork on Mass Violence and Their Level of Impact on Forensic Historiography

Friday, January 6, 2017: 9:30 AM
Mile High Ballroom 3A (Colorado Convention Center)
Mustafah Dhada, California State University, Bakersfield
Dhada’s paper explores the remaining two questions for the session: Where does the narrative stand today? And what contribution does Wiryamu make to advance the field of forensic historiography? The presentation first discusses the scope of the fieldwork that exhumed new narrative findings in the recent text on Wiriyamu; and ends with a discussion on methods needed to strengthen existent methodologies in tackling similar studies in trauma-filled mass violence.
