Session Abstract

During its centennial year, this roundtable session explores the origin and evolution of the U.S. National Park Service as a conceptual model for global heritage. The session includes multi-disciplinary perspectives including history, building conservation, archeology and community studies. This round table conversation explores the legacy of the National Park Service and different models of heritage management, preservation, conservation and community engagement.
