Shared Hardship: Understanding the Human Condition within War

This primarily deals with the process of shaping the minds of academics to better understand the reluctance of veteran’s to speak about their combat experience.

This presentation will center on the transition of the military mind in an academic setting. It will address the “chess piece” mentality and approach to teaching that many academics use through no fault of their own.
