Tour 19: The “New” New-York Historical Society

Explore the historical society’s world-renowned permanent collection and learn about New York’s oldest museum (founded 1804) from the curator of the new Robert H. and Clarice Smith Gallery, which showcases New York’s central role in the American Revolution and the creation of the United States. Tour includes free admission to the galleries and to New York Story, an 18-minute theatrical media experience about the history of NYC.
