Session Abstract

The session will open with new findings from a collaborative research project by history graduate students on how undergraduate history students perceive primary sources.  It then moves to involve the audience in a structured discussion of how history faculty currently use primary sources, and how they might use research methods to discover more effective assignments and methods in their teaching.
