As a public historian and history museum curator I've worked on a wide range of historical topics and often need to navigate in unfamiliar terrain. I've used my historical training to help me conduct and direct primary and secondary research, interview historians and informants, formulate interpretive structures and narratives, and explain the history to team members from diverse professional backgrounds.
