The Future of Graduate Education, Part 2: Faculty Perspectives on the Dissertation Format

This roundtable panel will raise a number of questions about the organization of graduate education in history for best training students for positions both within and outside of the academy. In particular, the panelists have been asked to consider what impact digital technologies might (or already are) playing on the format, content, and trajectory of the culminating exercise to merit the award of the Doctorate degree.
