Historypin has created a web and mobile platform which allows individuals and institutions to map and share historical photos, video and audio.  With tens of thousands of users and hundreds of cultural heritage partners, we're seeing how users explore various places, organize around topics, or use technical tools to build offline community. Particular focus will be paid in this panel to our parntership with the Historic New Orleans Collection from whom we gathered hundreds of historic photographs from the Charles L. Franck Collection.
