Session Abstract

This panel brings together scholars working on women active in right-wing political movements in the United States, South America, Europe, and India.  The presentations will address the connections within and across national boundaries, as women worked toward religious, anti-communist, and nationalist goals in their societies.  The panel considers the ways that gender has informed right-wing activists’ approach to race, violence, and exclusionary politics.
