The Integrated Public Use Microdata Series (IPUMS) Database

This presentation will cover the IPUMS databases, and how to use them in historical research.  The type of information in the historical census data will be discussed, as well as how the data has been integrated to make studying change across time and place possible.  There will be a brief demonstration of the IPUMS websites and a period for researcher questions about the data.
