Session Abstract
The AHA’s LGBTQ Historians Task Force will present preliminary information on their report to the AHA leadership and solicit feedback from the audience.
Marc Stein will present a preliminary report on the review of LGBTQ history in U.S. survey textbooks
Leisa Meyer will report on the job market for LGBTQ historians
Jennifer Brier will report on what other U.S. disciplinary associations have done in terms of LGBT-sensitive policies.
Susan Stryker will discuss how the AHA could adopt more trans-sensitive policies.
