Room 101 (Hynes Convention Center)
Dr. Bischof will discuss how co-directing our Teaching American History program brings value to her work as a professor and to her institution. Highlighting the continuum of education (we are all teaching the same students, just at different points in their academic careers), she will talk about why academia needs to reach out to K-12 institutions and share insight on how teaching participants to be historians helps them to enrich their own teaching practices.
