Dining with Faculty

For the job candidate, dining with faculty is both a performance and an opportunity to learn more about the culture of the department. As a performance, this is yet another opportunity for candidates to demonstrate what kind of colleague they might be, and why the department should hire them. It is also an opportunity for the candidate to learn about how members of the department get along (or don’t), and to ask any questions that might remain.
