Blogs have been a growing part of young historians' professional experiences; more graduate students and junior faculty members are reading and contributing to them. What role should blogging play in the job market? Are they a help or a hinderance? Should hiring committees take notice of applicants' online presences? This talk will also address the professional presence of historians on Facebook and other social networking sites.
