The presenter will discuss the challenges and pitfalls of constructing a new document readers that covers 500 plus years of hemispheric history more fully into undergraduate teaching in an interdisciplinary way. The reader is relevant to the Latin American History surveys whether configured as sequential colonial-modern surveys or as a one-semester course.
