"Disclosure" as an Issue for People with Disabilities

Catherine Kudlick, speaking on issue of "disclosure." She says: “While this is less pressing for race and gender, I know it also intersects with GLBTI issues.  Also we might want to think about (expected) links between scholarship and identity: if you're disabled/woman/queer/etc should you automatically be assumed to be doing work in this field or if you're doing work in a given field, how do you deal with assumptions about yourself in the profession? Where do allies fit in?”
