Session Abstract

Teachers, History Education Specialists, and Historians will examine and evaluate various approaches to translating teacher content analysis and learning through Teaching American History Grants into end results that impact student learning. Representing participation in more than 15 Teaching American History Grants from the Midwest to the East Coast funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the discussion will center around discovering and creating history projects that are not only meaningful to teachers of American History but can also be effectively utilized with their students.
