Kelly McCullough, Project Manager for the German Historical Institute, Washington, DC, will discuss how such an ambitious project has been shepherded toward completion.
Her remarks will consider issues of information technology, translation and editing, securing copyright permissions and institutional funding, and public reception. Her discussion of images -- one of the most popular features of the project -- will draw on her training in art history and design.
